FINAL INSTRUCTION No. 1

Seeding list has been published on the Clare Motor Club website, http://www.claremotorclub.com, and competitors who entered online have been notified of their seeding.

Sign-on for Recce is on Saturday morning, 19th September 2009 in the Auburn Lodge Hotel from 8:30am to 12:00pm.

Please ensure that both driver and navigator attend for Recce sign-on and bring licences and IRDS documentation. All information required to complete your entry will be taken at Recce sign-on.

Please ensure that Recce sticker is displayed on the passenger outside window.

Please drive at normal road speed and respect residents on the stages.

Maximum of three passes over each stage. Competitors will be signed in and out of each stage.

All named officials are Judges of Fact.

Mechanical Scrutiny:

Mechanical scrutiny takes place at the Car Perfect Accident and Repair Centre, in the Gort Road Industrial Estate, from 3:00pm until 9:00pm.

The Service Area is also located at Gort Road Industrial Estate. The Service Area must be left as found and ground sheets will have to be used at all times – No ground sheet – No service.

On completion of Mechanical Scrutiny please proceed to Parc Ferme (at  the back of the Auburn Lodge Hotel). Documentation scrutiny needs to be completed as soon as possible after Mechanical scrutiny.

No trailers in Rally HQ. Trailer park is opposite Cois na hAbhna on the Gord Road, this will be signposted.

If you wish to be re-seeded, you must complete a reseed request and present this to the Competitor Liaison Officer before 8:00pm. Reseed requests received after this time will not be entertained.

Special note from Gardai.

A Charity Garda Cycle is taking place n Saturday between 2:00pm and 4:00pm in the vicinity of stages 2 and 3. Please exercise extreme caution.

The GATSO camera speed van is operating in the Ennis area over the weekend. You have been warned.

The Club in conjunction with the Garda Siochana an Clare County Council are running a Road Safety Campaign over the weekend and are appealing to drivers to SLOW DOWN, wear a seatbelt, don’t drink & drive and above all KEEP THE RACE IN ITS PLACE.
